SANKALPA HOUSING PROJECT


WBIDFC has received land in New Town, Rajarhat through Debt-Asset swap from West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (WBHIDCO). To this end, the land measuring 23.388 hectares i.e. 57.76 acres (residential purpose 37.29 acres and commercial purpose 20.47 acres) in New Town, Rajarhat. The remaining land is yet to be handed over to WBIDFC.


The Company’s Board has decided to set up a residential housing project on the slice of land admeasuring 15.129 acres for eventual sale. West Bengal Housing Board (WBHB) under Housing Department, Government of West Bengal was appointed as Agent for the construction work of the residential project. M/s. N. K. Realtors Private Limited, one of the largest vertically integrated real estate service firms in India offering comprehensive services in the industry, have been engaged as Marketing Agent for the said housing project. M/s. Dulal Mukherjee & Associates, under the leadership of Shri Dulal Mukherjee, an eminent architect of the country has been involved as architect of this project.

SANKALPA - The Location :

The location of the residential project is considered to be the best location in New Town, as the site is situated in a prime location of Action Area - 1 on the Main Arterial Road and in close proximity to the proposed financial hub, luxurious hotels, posh malls etc. The possession of apartments of Site II,III and IV , 54 no. of flats of both the sites were allotted on the basis of an auction held on 19.01.2014.


WBIDFC takes pride to announce that despite the world-wide melt down, neither the construction work nor the demand for flats in the site has been affected significantly. The flats at sites which were launched by WBIDFC in phases were fully subscribed. The construction work of Site II,III and IV are completed and only Site I is yet to be completed.
